December 15, 2011 - South Jeffco Sports Association (“SJSA”) has teamed with the largest portable basketball hoop manufacturer in the world, Lifetime Products, Inc. on a two-year sponsorship agreement. Utah-based Lifetime has manufactured nearly 10 million adjustable basketball systems since its Quick Adjust® height adjustment invention in 1986 and now sells basketball systems in 58 countries around the world.
“We are thrilled with this new relationship with Lifetime,“ said South Jeffco Sports President, Paul Sheehy. “It combines the top youth sports organization in Colorado, with the nation’s best portable basketball hoop manufacturer working together on a common goal – adding more and better basketball opportunities for our kids.”
The first part of the arrangement positions Lifetime as the presenting name sponsor of the annual South Jeffco Holiday Basketball Tournament, to be held December 19-21 at the Gold Crown Field House in Lakewood. Other components of the arrangement include Lifetime’s sponsoring both a preseason youth basketball tournament, and a unique off-season event during the spring or summer, which will be announced in early 2012. Lifetime will also be providing support to the SJSA/Sports Authority Youth Participation Scholarship fund, offering registration and equipment grants to families in need of assistance.
